Jane Garbutt studies effects of telephone coaches on children’s asthma treatment
A novel program at Washington University School of Medicine, lead by Dr. Jane Garbutt, Director of MTPCI and Co-Director of the KL2 program, suggests that peer trainers who coach parents over the phone on managing their children’s asthma can sharply reduce the number of days the kids experience symptoms.
