   • Reason for participation instead of going to graduate school
   • What you plan to achieve during your time in PRIDE
   • Long-term professional goals, and how you plan to achieve them
   • How do you promote or enhance diversity in science
4. Three letters of recommendation
5. List of three to four WashU Research Mentors you’d like to work with and why
