The Postbaccalaureate Research Education Program in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolic Diseases (PRIDE R25) was created to offer students who have completed their bachelor’s degree and are interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in the biomedical sciences, protected time to develop additional research skills, and a two-year research experience in the fields of diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolic diseases (DEM). The program offers a full-time research experience in a laboratory that studies diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism, as well as courses for skill development related to DEM science, and on how to apply for and be successful in graduate school.
