General Requirements
Eligibility requirements follows NIH grant RFA-DK-22-037. Washington University will not sponsor employment-based visas for this program. See additional information in the FAQ section below.
Academic Requirements
- Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from an accredited U.S. college or university by appointment start date.
- Applicants must have graduated no more than 24 months prior to the start of the program.
- Applicants must not be enrolled in a degree program by appointment start date.

Professional Effort
This is a rigorous research program in a professional setting. All scholars are required to participate in the program on a full-time, in-person basis and pursue their research training at 75% throughout the duration of the program.
