We would like to thank our mentors and partners, such talented and experienced people, that worked determinedly to ensure our summer research training program would be a great faculty-guided two-month clinical research experience for mentees. Most importantly, we hope that students will return back to their home institutions with new scientific knowledge and will continue to ask interesting research questions on their journey to improve human health. This summer we had students from Saint Louis University, the University of Missouri-Columbia, the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, the University of Missouri–Kansas City, Meharry Medical College, and the University of Puerto Rico.
