10th Annual Research Training Symposium and Poster Session

slide3-2The 10th annual medical center-wide Research Training Symposium and Poster Session took place on October 22nd. The symposium featured a keynote speaker, oral presentations, and poster sessions showcasing research projects performed by junior faculty, fellows, and students in research training programs throughout Washington University School of Medicine.

Over 30 training programs were represented during the symposium, with 129 scholars presenting posters and five podium presentations. The keynote address was given by Anthony J. Windebank, MD, Professor of Neurology and Director of the Clinical and Translational Science Program at Mayo Clinic. He addressed attendees with his talk “Regenerative Medicine: Accelerating Translation for Neurological Disorders.” Thank you to all of the scholars and faculty members who participated in the symposium and contributed to its growth and success.
