Summer Research Program has wrapped up its 2020 program differently this year. Due to COVID-19 on-campus restrictions, the summer research program cohort attended virtual classes and research activities. The Clinical Research Training Center (CRTC) would like to thank our mentors and partners, such talented and experienced people, that worked determinedly to ensure our summer research training program would be a great faculty-guided two-month clinical research experience for mentees.
The program had a total of 18 students from the Saint Louis University, University of Missouri-Columbia, Saint Louis College of Pharmacy, University of Missouri – Kansas City, and the Washington University School of Medicine that completed online learning sessions and seminars involving a diverse group of WashU faculty. We hope that students will return back to their home institutions with new scientific knowledge and will continue to ask important research questions on their journey to improve human health.
The application period for the 2021 Summer Research Program will open in November.
